Congratulations to Dr. Pan (and Dr. Christoph Hofstetter), whose proposal “Exploring Revenue Models for SpineHealthie” was selected to receive a $10,000 grant from UW’s CoMotion. SpineHealthie is a smartphone app that gives patients and healthcare providers a new way to experience virtual pre- and post-surgical care, together. To develop a revenue model, Drs. Pan and Hofstetter will conduct an intensive review of the reimbursement process for remote physiological monitoring (RPM), evaluate which features in SpineHealthie can be exploited for RPM, and develop new features to meet demand for novel telehealth and remote monitoring follow-up.
