Dear Friends, Colleagues and Supporters of Neurological Surgery, All my warm wishes to you for the New Year! May you enjoy success, health and happiness in the coming year. What do I think about in the New Year? I am thankful for and to everyone in the Department of Neurological Surgery.
It was an exciting few months of activity in our department. We welcomed new residents, fellows and faculty. We said our wistful goodbyes to our graduates, ready to expand their field of vision and launch their brilliant careers.
It is Spring! For us, it is a rebirth! In this season’s newsletter we celebrate our new resident recruits. Our match resulted in a spectacular team of future surgeon scientists. Our faculty continue to bring great local and national acclaim to their accomplishments.
November was a very sweet month. In fact, autumn in our department was filled with excitement and achievements. The Harborview Gala was a blast…and a successful one at that, raising $13 million for the UW Medicine Neurosciences Institute
What a crazy, busy summer! Greetings from the Department of Neurological Surgery. To begin with, twelve of our neurosurgeons were voted Top Docs by their peers and featured in Seattle Magazine; their photos are on page 2.
