Christine Mac Donald, PhD to lead Neuroimaging Core of $56 million NIH grant to expand Alzheimer’s research

The National Institute of Aging, part of the National Institutes of Health, is awarding a grant expected to total $55.6 million to the Adult Changes in Thought study (ACT), led by the University of Washington, Kaiser Permanente Washington and the University of California San Diego. The funds will be used to advance the understanding of Alzheimer’s and diversify and broaden participation in the study. The grant is divided into six cores; Dr. Mac Donald will lead the Neuroimaging Core. Read more here.
