Elisa Willems is a board certified Physician Assistant at the Neurological Surgery Clinic at UW Medical Center and a teaching associate at the UW School of Medicine.  She graduated with a B.Sc. from Clemson University before obtaining a Masters in Medical Science at the University of Kentucky.  She completed her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies at South University in Savannah, Georgia,  then joined the UW Neurological Surgery team in 2019. Elisa enjoys educating and supporting her patients through the operative process, and has an interest in movement and spinal disorders.

Jean Ly is a nurse practitioner for the Department of Neurological Surgery at Harborview Medical Center. Her approach to patient care comes with a holistic mindset. As a patient advocate, she values patient education and its role in promoting health after an illness or injury, preventing acute exacerbation, and overall improvement of quality of life. Her goal is to provide patient-centered care in a collaborative and supportive environment. Jean earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Seattle University.

Charles Vaughan, A.R.N.P., is a neurosurgery acute care nurse practitioner at Harborview Medical Center, Seattle. Vaughn has several years of experience as a critical care registered nurse at the University of Washington Medical Center, Seattle. He also has experience working in the Emergency Department at Harborview Medical Center and the UW Medicine Pioneer Square Clinic.

Natalie M. Holroyd, A.R.N.P., is a nurse practitioner who has dedicated herself to neurology and neurosurgery patients throughout her career.

Holroyd graduated with her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from Columbia University School of Nursing, New York, New York, focusing her studies in neurological sciences and HIV. She worked in a neurology hospitalist group at New York Columbia Presbyterian Hospital before joining Harborview Medical Center.

Joani Marcher, ARNP

Joani Marcher, A.R.N.P., is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with the Department of Neurological Surgery at Harborview Medical Center, Seattle. Marcher joined the neurosurgery team in 2010. She is also a member of the Disaster Medical Assistance Team.

Marcher received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from California State University, Chico; her Masters of Science in Critical Care/Trauma from University of California, San Francisco; and her Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Washington State University, Spokane.

Olga Lucia Paredes is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner in the Neurological Surgical Department at the University of Washington. She provides pre, post-surgical, and follow up care to patients with pituitary tumors, complex skull base brain tumors, cerebrovascular disorders, microvascular compression disorders, and neurofibromatosis type 1 and 2. Lucia is originally from Colombia where she finished her Bachelor's degree in Nursing with Graduate studies in Epidemiology and Public Health.

Michelle Mulugeta is a physician assistant in the Department of Neurological Surgery at Harborview Medical Center.

She earned bachelors degrees in physiology and anthropology from the University of Washington and her masters in physician assistant practice at Rosalind Franklin University in North Chicago. Prior to joining the Harborview Neurosurgery group, she practiced in family medicine with special emphasis on women and children's health. Michelle is board certified by the National Commission for the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
