Anthony Maxin, MD

Anthony was born and raised in Seattle. He attended the University of Washington where he graduated with a BS in Biochemistry. He attended medical school at Creighton University in Omaha, NE. Prior to and throughout medical school, he helped to develop a smartphone application-based pupillometer using computer vision, traditional machine learning, and transformer-based artificial intelligence to serve as a digital biomarker of neurological disease. This work was conducted in the lab of Dr. Michael Levitt at the University of Washington and under the mentorship of Dr. Lynn McGrath. He has a passion for patient care and improving patient outcomes through clinical and translational research including technology development. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with loved ones, entrepreneurship, urban hiking, and coding.
