Congratulations to members of the department who were voted Top Doctors in the Puget Sound region for 2024 by Seattle Magazine. For more than two decades, “Seattle” magazine has published a list of the region’s top doctors. None paid to be included. All were nominated by their peers.
Emeritus Professor, Dr. Richard Rapport, has had several books and stories published over the past twenty years. His latest opus, Bedside Stories, features chapters influenced by his years at Harborview.
Brett Seifried's son, Archer, was born with cerebral palsy and had a hard time walking. Archer is much improved after selective dorsal rhizotomy surgery performed by Dr.

Congratulations to Dr. Jeff Ojemann who concluded his tenure as President of the American Society of Pediatric Neurosurgeons (ASPN) with a great talk at last week’s annual meeting which was held in Puerto Rico. Dr.
Proprio’s Paradigm system captures high-definition images of the operating field from above and fuses them with images of pre-operative three-dimensional scans. The system relies on advances in light field imaging, computer vision, machine learning, robotics and augmented reality.
