Julia Berquist (Class of 2019)
Julia is the current Outreach Coordinator for the University of Washington Undergraduate Neuroscience’s Grey Matters Journal. Mohamed Magassa (Class of 2019)
During his time with the program, Mohamed recorded video of many of his experiences both within and outside of the program. In appreciation for the opportunity that the program made possible for him, he created and shared a wonderful video of those experiences that is featured on the home page of the NSSSP website. You can also watch the video HERE.
Nina Cherian (Class of 2015)
Since participating in the program, Nina earned her BS in neuroscience at UCLA in 2019. Nina got a job as a research assistant at UCLA after graduating and has been working in Los Angeles for the past eight months. Nina is applying to medical school and writing about her past experiences in her application has Nina reminiscing on what she took away from her time in the UW NSSSP. It's safe to say the program gave Nina the phenomenal opportunity to learn about medicine from the research and clinical perspectives; Nina still remembers her first OR shadowing opportunity clear as day.
