Congratulations to Dr. Jeff Herron who was awarded a Weill Neurohub research grant in the amount of $280,373 for his project “Automated Optimization of Adaptive DBS for Parkinson’s Disease.” The aim of his research is to develop a system integrating brain signal recordings, automatic video analysis, wearable sensors and patient symptom reports that could be deployed to patient’s homes in order to update their adaptive DBS system automatically.
