Immersive research experience gives undergraduate students a strong foundation for success

Jesse Woodbury enrolled in the Center for Sensorimotor Neural Engineering’s (CSNE’s) Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) program for the summer of 2017, and worked in Neurological Surgery Assistant Professor Rajiv Saigal's lab.  The 10 week program gave Jesse hands-on experience in the lab and left him more confident about achieving his goal of attaining an MD and PhD.  Read more about Jesse's experience, as well as the experiences of other REU participants, on CSNE's website.
