This past October, Dr. Hofstetter traveled to Dubai to participate as a teacher for AOSpine’s Advanced Simulation Course in Endoscopic Spine Surgery, which was the first course of its kind in the Middle East. The two and a half day, hands-on course, took participants step by step through the common endoscopic procedures: Transforaminal discectomy, Interlaminar discectomy, Decompression of the lateral recess and Unilateral laminotomy for bilateral decompression.
