The Sports Institute at UW Medicine awarded a $50,000 grant from the Washington Research Foundation

Congratulations to The Sports Institute’s Associate Director, Sara Mosiman, MBA and Associate Director for Clinical Innovation, Cindy Lin, MD, whose Exercise Rx project proposal received a Phase 1 Technology Commercialization Grant.  Exercise Rx is an innovative digital health platform that will leverage artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and novel sensing to safely motivate physical activity (PA) in home and community settings. Exercise Rx will accelerate healthcare providers’ ability to prescribe exercise as medicine effectively worldwide. The technology aims to deepen the doctor-patient relationship while building on telemedicine and remote patient monitoring (RPM) technologies adopted during and post COVID-19.
