Dr. Gelfenbeyn is an Associate Professor in the Department of Neurological Surgery who practices at the Puget Sound VA Health System’s Seattle Campus. He was born and grew up in Moscow, Russia. After graduating medical school, he worked at the Moscow Sklifosovsky Emergency Care Institute where he was Chief of Neurosurgery. Dr. Gelfenbeyn immigrated to the US at the end of 2000 and completed a residency and fellowship at the University of Washington Department of Neurological Surgery.
