Robert Bonow, MD awarded Innovation Grant from the Garvey Institute for Brain Health Solutions

Congratulations to Dr. Rob Bonow whose research project “Tracking intracranial pressure noninvasively with optic nerve sheath diameter” has received a grant in the amount of $89,000 from the newly established Garvey Institute for Brain Health Solutions (GIBHS) at UW Medicine.  The mission of the Institute is to improve the health for the millions of people at risk for and affected by mental health, substance use, and other brain health disorders. Initial areas of focus include cognitive aging, addictions and the effects of physical and/or emotional trauma on the brain.  Read more about GIBHS here.
