Basavaraj V. Ghodke, M.D., is director of Interventional Neuroradiology at Harborview Medical Center and a UW professor of Neurological Surgery and Radiology
Dr. Ghodke is an endovascular surgeon with over 20 years of experience in minimally invasive approaches to neurological disorders, cerebral and spinal interventional procedures and treatment of craniofacial vascular anomalies. He strives to create active partnerships with his patients to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Dr. Ghodke's clinical interests include neuroradiology, neurosurgery, cerebral angiography, acute stroke treatment, brain aneurysms, brain and spine tumors and stenting. His research interests include aneurysms, fistulas, stenting, tumor embolization, chemotherapy for retinoblastoma, lymphatic, capillary and venous malformations, sclerotherapy, acute stroke thrombectomy and vertebroplasty for spinal fractures.
In his spare time, Dr. Ghodke enjoys photography, bicycling and following the Seattle Seahawks.
