Michael A. Williams, MD

Dr. Michael Williams is director of Adult and Transitional Hydrocephalus and CSF Disorders. He is a UW professor of neurology and neurological surgery, and an expert in idiopathic normal pressure hydrocephalus (iNPH), hydrocephalus in young and middle-aged adults, hydrocephalus in young adults making the transition from pediatric specialists to adult specialists, and in pseudotumor cerebri, also known as idiopathic intracranial hypertension.

Manuel Ferreira, MD, PhD, MBA

Dr. Manuel Ferreira is an attending neurosurgeon at the University of Washington Medical Center, co-director of Skull Base and Minimally Invasive Neurosurgery, Director of UW Medicine Multi-disciplinary Pituitary Program and a UW Professor of Neurological Surgery. He is the surgical director of the UW Medicine Multi-Disciplinary Pituitary Program. He received his training at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, where he received specialized neurosurgical training in the treatment of neurofibromatosis and acoustic neuromas (vestibular schwannomas) with Dr.

Randall M. Chesnut, MD, FCCM, FACS

Based at Harborview Medical Center, Dr. Chesnut is a UW professor with appointments in both the Department of Neurological Surgery and the Department of Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine. He has particular expertise in surgery and critical care for traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injuries, failed back surgery, and adult spondylolisthesis, as well as sports-related spine and brain injuries.
