PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Department of Neurological Surgery at the University of Washington offers a Clinical Fellowship in Cerebrovascular and Skull Base Surgery under the supervision of Professors Laligam N. Sekhar, and Manuel J. Ferreira. The fellowship provides training in microsurgery of cerebrovascular and skull base lesions, and endoscopic surgery of skull base tumors, and opportunity for clinical research, and publications. It does not include any endovascular training.
The fellowship is not accredited by the ACGME.
The Cerebrovascular and Skull Base Fellow is appointed as an Acting Instructor in the Department of Neurological Surgery and will have some call responsibility for Neuro-trauma cases. All previous fellows from this program have distinguished themselves through their stellar service to patients and excellence as educators.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
SELECTION PROCESS
Once all required documents (including a letter of interest, curriculum vitae, and three letters of recommendation) have been received and reviewed, selected candidates will be contacted to schedule interviews. Selection is competitive and based on the quality of the applicant.
STIPENDS AND BENEFITS
Vacation, pay, and benefit specifics will be discussed at the interview. However, the University of Washington offers a highly competitive compensation package.
