Congratulations to 2016 Summer Student Stephanie Ekey whose poster based on her research project in Dr. Nino Ramirez’ lab won third place at the 4th Annual Black Doctoral Network Conference held 10/24-29/2016 in Atlanta Georgia. The Network is a nationwide organization that serves over 4500 members representing scholars from over 100 colleges and universities. Stephanie will also be giving both a poster and session presentation on her work “The Impact of Systemic Inflammation on Post-Hypoxic Recovery” at the 5th annual Georgia Undergraduate Research Conference November held 4th and 5th at Georgia College and State University. This meeting is known as the Southeast’s Preeminent Regional Research and Creative Endeavors Conference.
