Reclaiming and Revitalizing Act Neuroimaging Records

The overarching goals of this R01 proposal are to leverage extensive existing clinical imaging data from a well-characterized cohort of older adults to improve scientific understanding of potential mechanisms by which anticholinergic medications (Aim 1) and glucose metabolism (Aim 2) lead to dementia and Alzheimer’s disease risk, and to provide a valuable resource that characterizes longitudinal changes in brain structure over time for this cohort of older adults (Aim 3). The proposal builds on the resources of the Adult Changes in Thought (ACT) study. Read more here.
