Margaret J. Swift, A.R.N.P., FNP-C, is a nurse practitioner for the Neurosurgery Department at Harborview Medical Center, Seattle. Covering the Nocturnist role for the Department, Swift provides care to people of all ages. Her specialty includes neurosurgery, but also has experience in primary care, urgent care and emergency services.
Swift earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Oregon Health Science University, Portland, Oregon, and her Master of Science in Nursing from Washington State University, Spokane. She is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Swift believes in an integrated holistic approach to improve results and foster trust between provider and patient. It is so important to truly listen and seamlessly mingle our patient’s goals with the health care teams to provide the best care and return to life outside the hospital.
In addition to caring for patients, Swift enjoys spending time with her family and dog, photography, traveling and sea kayaking.
